This review is about tea tree oil and toenail fungus. I struggled with controlling nail fungus for ten years. Tee tree oil helped, but never caused it to go away completely. I also used vinegar soaks, Vick’s vapor rub, oil of oregano, bleach solutions along with over the counter treatments sold just for fungus, I’m sure there were other things I can’t remember now. A year ago everything stopped working and the fungus became much worse, nearly reaching the quick. I had a very expensive vit D lamp, which never helped increase D levels. I began using it on my toes. At first three times a day for several months, then twice, now a year later every other day. The very tip of the great toenails are the only part showing signs of discoloration and are within a few weeks of being cut off. I still use tee tree oil, but on my face. Added to my moisturizer it prevents any acne problems.
